Beware the Warrior Forum if Trying To Make Money Online

Starting your own home based business through online or internet marketing is a particularly attractive proposition to many people. The attractions are obvious-working from home and making money on “autopilot”..

It only takes a short time before anybody who aspires to start their own home business learns of the Warrior Forum. If you have not heard of it, it is probably the biggest and best known forum on the internet for anybody interested in internet marketing or online business.

There are a huge number of members who range from “newbies” to more experienced internet marketers who invariably offer generously of their advice in helping the newcomers. However the newcomer better have his/her wits about him.

Because a lot of the advice should carry with it two health warnings:

1) It may be plain wrong (and is a lot of the time)
2) It may only be proffered in order to help the experienced marketer promote his/her signature which invariably contains a link to his/her product.

Before long it is very easy for the novice business owner to be seduced into whipping out his/her credit card and purchasing the first of many useless downloadable reports or ebooks which have been whipped together with the sole purpose of selling it in the Warrior Special Forum section.

There are some genuinely helpful members in the forum but let me put this thought to you: if you were a very successful internet marketer who was making great money online, would you be spending your days on the Warrior Forum promising to dispense your secrets for $7 or $17.

The really successful internet and online business owners are not spending their days on the Warrior Forum peddling the electronic equivalent of snake oil.

So before you get your credit card out bide your time. Watch what people say and write and after a time make up your own mind as to whether they are actually credible or not and whether they actually know what they are talking about.

Succeeding with your online business should be built on sound fundamental which do not involve trying to trick or fool the search engines for inflated, unjustified rankings in the search engines owned by Google, Yahoo and Bing.

You will learn some vital information on the Warrior forum but you are more likely to learn from the discussions or free advice dispensed by genuinely ethical and knowledgeable marketers than someone who is forever trying to pimp their stuff with an incessant and unending string of inane contributions to discussions which have as their sole purpose the putting of their signature in front of as many eyeballs as possible.

So educate yourself, don’t rush into building your business online; learn the building blocks from the many cool websites and blogs on the internet where you will find a lot of very useful and free information.

But don’t rely on the snake oil salesmen and women who frequent the Warrior Forum because

  • 1. Many of them have not got a clue about building successful websites and creating valuable virtual real estate;
  • 2. The majority are simply trying to pimp their products by providing pseudo “helpful” advice to newbies and novices.
